Butterflies are an important symbol for United in Solace and Grace.  For us they represent transformation and new life. 

As at the end of June 2025, over 450 butterflies, large and  small have been crocheted by the team and members of the wider community.  these simple butterflies are then blessed, and are given free at the services.  They are also available to those who visit the offices of Survivors in Transition. They are given as a sign that we are not alone.

These small butterflies are not difficult to crochet. We have attached a link to a pattern for you to download.  it does not matter if they are not perfect ...... neither are we!
